Victoriana Tiles of London

Period Tiles to grant authenticity to your restoration project, or to enhance your property.
Geometric floor tiles are part of Britain’s heritage and were used originally to ornament medieval churches and monasteries, and the homes of the aristocracy. Their popularity was enhanced during the Victorian era when they became part of the Romantic movement inspired by the Pre Raphealites hunger for nostalgia.
The Victorians were great travellers and great collectors, documenting designs as they went before bringing them back to Britain and experimenting with these new ideas.
These motifs can be assembled into varying designs including magnificent borders, and can be used to create up to date designs as well as period features.
